High School -- Shumway passed for 2,023 yards and rushed for 613 more for head coach Charlie Wegher’s Agoura High School Chargers last fall. Shumway completed 160 of 246 passes with six interceptions and 19 touchdowns as the Chargers finished 6-4 overall and tied for third place in the Marmonte League with a 4-3 mark. He averaged 263.6 yards of total offense per game en route to first-team All-Marmonte League and second-team All-Ventura County honors. Shumway, who also plays basketball for the Chargers and was an All-Marmonte League point guard last year, completed 121 of 205 passes for 1,429 yards and 11 scores with five interceptions as a junior. He also rushed for 211 yards and two touchdowns, earning second-team All-Marmonte League honors.
