He was probably joking. We all know the 2 Apps selected deserved it while there aren't any others who were clearly deserving at this point. Despite that I'm sure some people around Boone have players they think were snubbed and like someone else said, the post season list is the one that matters. If I was a player I would rather be on that list! xthumbsupx

What baffles me though, is yeah, 4 EWU players were selected, but Nichols isn't among them... wtf?

All CAA preseason team had 5 o-lineman: 3 centers, 1 guard and 1 tackle, Sean Calicchio of UMass. Yet the only CAA tackle on the list in Tim Silver of UR at 3rd team. Also they have Sherman Logan, DE UR as a 3rd team DE. Logan wasn't on the pre season All CAA team either. Those 2 appear to be the only 2 CAA players that were listed that wern't on the Pre Season All CAA Team. UR had the most players- looks like they're showing some love for UR. Players CAA teams I counted:
UR: 4
UD: 3
JMU: 1
UMass: 1
UNH: 1
Maine: 1
NE: 1
URI: 1
Nova: 0
W&M: 0
TU: 0
Hofstra: 0

He is a two-time All-Big Sky pick. He just wasn't first team last year because of Northern Colorado's Ryan Chesla getting 1st team.

I didn't name the teams. Email Coulson and I'm sure he will tell you why he picked Fitzpatrick. xthumbsupx

Hmmm.

Eighty-four total players on this list.

In my quick and probably erroneous count, only six guys from the Socon.

If ASU is the overwhelming favorite to win the division, as almost everyone who is not biased says. Then don't you think they have more than 2 all american worthy players. It is hilarious to me that we have won our third straight national title and people still don't give us the respect we deserve.

People need to relax. Just because you don't have a top 6 WR, a top 6 RB, a top 3 QB, etc... doesn't mean you don't have the best team. I saw half of the WR listed play, and they are all better picks than any ASU wideout I saw last year (well except maybe Jackson but he's gone).

Also, just because you're team has a few guys on the list doesn't make you a great team either. Shocking as it may sound, there are talented players outside the top 10.

I guess we will have to wait and see if any of those guys are still there at the conclusion of the season. For the record I have no beef with Daly!

I think Jason Williams deserves to be for sure as well. Mulitalo could go either way but I doubt anyone who has seen him would argue against him for sure.

But seriously, I am surprised that Scott Riddle didn't make this list. I could go on and list all his stats again, but I'm sure everyone's heard it enough to know by now how good he is. But it is just preseason polls. It'll be nice when Scott Riddle gets named 1st team All-American at the end of the year.

I don't think the Big Sky gets enough respect:)

Actually I'm confused how half of those 8 guys from NAU and EWU didn't even make 1st team Big Sky. I could also easily replace 3 of them with Bobcats Fletcher,Bostick, and Kolone.

I would love a long term home and home with you guys xthumbsupx and yes we'll play at your house first. Have your people call my people.

Yep all that ASU bias from the sportsnetwork is showing through again.

I'm not concerned about preseason AA teams, I look for 6 AAs on this list post-season:

AE, Banks, Smith (LB), Williams (DT), CoCo (WR), and one of the o-lineman.

That is a real possibility but if Armanti continues the numbers he has put up over the past 2 years, I don't think any other quarterback will overtake his spot on 1st team. Then again, he could get injured or we could have a down year as well.

I agree Riddle is great, but in the FCS, passing numbers alone will not be enough to warrant 1st team AA status (see R. Landers, QB from Cal Poly, QB from Richmond) and even in FBS it doesn't get it done either (see Tebow, C. Daniels); G. Harrell (Texas Tech) with all his passing numbers wasn't even close to the other two.

Armanti will keep that status. He's mobile and has a decent arm. His numbers last year in the regular season were pretty staggaring, seeing that he missed the 1st 4 games!
