Curious as to how many tickets are to ASU fans. Haven't even heard what the number allotted to the ASU ticket office, much less the number of ASU fans purchasing through JMU's ticket office.

JMUsports.com under QuickFacts up till last month was listing the stadium capacity as 14,513, same as last several years. Now its listed at 15,500. So that looks like an additional 1k of bleacher seats by doubling the endzone.

Highest attendance 05' was 15,124 (UR)
Highest attendance 06' was 16,144 (UD)
Highest attendance 07' was 15,260 (CCU) (2 other games were also over 15k)

I'm not sure about what some are saying as no more tickets sold for SRO. According to this article from May 07' when JMU's capacity was still listed at 14,513:
"That number doesn’t include the 800 standing-room only tickets JMU sells on game-days to students."
http://www.dnronline.com/details.php?AID=10140&CHID=3
I would imagine the attendance will be, depending on the SRO, 16-17k.

I would guess 2-3k will be ASU. ASU could of course bring more if more could get tickets.

No, apparently it was listed as sold out, then re opened to single game ticket sales late last week due to the 1000k additional temp endzone bleacher seats. The initial articles I read this past Winter and Spring mentioned only 500 additional bleacher seats. So I guess the endzone temp bleachers may now will seat closer to 3k. So it appears there were an extra few hundred/500 seats that sold out in about a week.

I wish ASU and UMass could do a home-and-home. If only the schools could agree on it.......doubtful though.

Goes to show that you can make some money when two good programs play each other....

Wish the playoff committee would take heed and put more precedence on SOS instead of wins and losses!

We might see more of these types of matchups!

Are you sure it's section 4? That's the student section and I didn't think tickets were even printed for that section. Sections 1-5 are kind of a free-for all for students.
