Is the norm for the rest of the season going to be Murietta on the bench?

He did play one series in the second quarter against PSU. PSU radio crew said Murietta was slightly injured last week and NAU coaches held him out of this game as a precaution.

I think he has fallen out of favor with coaches. I attended the game last night, many of the fans were wondering the same question on why he was out of the game. They had heard he was hobbling but didn't think it was enough to keep him out. I have followed NAU since 1988, and while we had some lean years, I have never seen them this bad. All aspects of the game they were beat. It will be interesting to see what happens in the off season.
