You know, I wasn't paying that much attention to Liberty last season. But I looked at the results. They were 8-3 and lost to Toledo by one point (34-35). That tells me they were bascially two points from being in the playoffs last season. I don't think there's any doubt that, if they'd finished 9-2 with a win over Toledo, they'd have been in.

That tells me they were bascially two points from being in the playoffs last season. I don't think there's any doubt that, if they'd finished 9-2 with a win over Toledo, they'd have been in.

And those two points came on half an inch at William & Mary and a penalty/dropped pass at Toledo. Either one of those games and we were in. Most people didn't take us seriously at all last year because of our conference and we lost three games. They didn't look at how dominate we were in conference and how we lost the games. I'm not saying we should've been in the playoffs, but we were a lot better than 95% of FCS fans gave us credit for. Respect is earned though, and we get another chance this year.

As long as you can keep recruiting kids who go to Liberty because Jesus said they would burn in hell if they didn't, you'll do just fine.

We didn't show up. No one is crying or making excuses about that game. We didn't show up and got absolutely killed. That's what happened. Terrell Hudgins killed our best corner on screens all day long. Luckily this year we have better size at corner and can match up a little better with him. We got beat. Plain and simple.

would it not be pretty cool if both teams were undefeated when they meet this year? i will hopefully be making the trip to the game from tidewater this year, it's not too long a drive and hopefully both teams will have great records when they meet.

And yes Liberty had a very good team last year, if I remember right they had the game against Toledo basically in the bag, but let it slip awayxmadx

By the way, that little thing about respect that I posted earlier gave me the idea to make another video. It's rendering right now. It's even better than the first. Normally I don't get excited after watching videos that I make but I did on this one.

Do you have any video of the SFU game?
We were pretty terrible and inexperienced at the beginning of the season and got demolished, but I still wouldn't mind seeing some highlights. :)
