Stanford has done rather well in a lot of sports, if they could get that football program going a little bit more...

But they list other schools with no state information in their name without any indication of what state they are in.

It will be years before we crack that list. Not enough women's sports, even though just about every woman at the school is on some kind of an athletic scholly.

How does UNI rank high in that but not in the MVC All-Sports standings?

How does UNI rank high in that but not in the MVC All-Sports standings?

By excelling in sports not sponsored by the MVC. Same thing happens with New Hampshire in America East. Example #1 -- Football.

What am I missing? I"m not seeing either football or basketball listed as among the sports considered. Surely I must just not be seeing something.

On that PDF, it is only the spring sports listed. There are separate pdfs for fall and winter sports, the three combined make up the total.

Yep, UNH Alum nailed it.

Since UNI has football (MVFC as you know) and wrestling (Western Wrestling Conference) in two different conferences, our national success at both isn't included in the MVC-All Sports.

UNI won both the Gateway (MVFC) last year and have won the Western Wrestling Regional for like 20 straight years or something.
