Cal Poly probably has one of the smallest O-lines in the FCS. They may not be huge, but the are also probably some of the quickest and most athletic in the FCS. Here they are:

Starting five:

Pat Koligian Sr, LT 6'3" 270
Stephen Field Sr, LG 6'1" 290
Jason Cox So, OC 6'0" 260
Will Mitchell So, RG 6'1" 285

Reserves:

Maurice McClure Rfr, OG 6'2" 275
Art Munoz So, OT 6'2" 270

All of our guys fall into the 5.1 to 5.5 range in the forty. They are not slow. If a big guy runs a 4.9-5.0 Hauck usually puts him on the D-Line.

Concur; I have seen most of them play and they certainly are quick! It would be interesting to know what their 40 times are.

Looks like the Griz has USC's O-Line!! Ouch! I hope our D-line can survive!

I would bet that Wofford and Nicholls State both have smaller lines like Cal Poly seeing both run the triple option.

Whatever shortcomings the Samford Bulldogs have in the SoCon this year, the size of the OL will DEFINITELY NOT be one of them. (Sizes listed on our official site)
Probable starters:

LG #60 RS-Sr. Tommy Smith 6-4 318 lbs
C #61 RS-JR. Jon Webber 6-4 306 lbs

And TE #83 JR Chris Spivey 6-5 274 lbs

Seeing as though we run the spread... having size on our OL isn't of much importance rather athleticism is the key to our OL sucess.

Here is the two deep.

73 Corbett Harris (6-5, 265, So.)
LEFT GUARD

61 Verlanic, Jim C 6-0 263 Sr Anaconda, MT/Anaconda
75 Saucedo, Louis OG 6-5 330 Sr Long Beach, CA/Trabuco Hills HS

Miller started a few games last year, but I have heard he is having grade problems. I don't really know his status at this point.

Saucedo started all games in '06, but was ineligible in '07, but worked hard and got back on track to play for his senior season.

Patterson is the big JC transfer (6'3 307) but has been injured a bit in the spring, and from the sounds of it not too many people in Bobcat Country have been impressed with him so far.

If Miller can't go, I'm not sure who will be playing where. We have a lot of depth, but not a ton of size. Ash has mentioned we are switching to a spread offense, though.
