Just curious how many people know about and how many people actually utilize the http://www.championshipsubdivisionnews.com/ web site?

It's ok, the ads in the background make it annoying to read.

Wasn't that the site that had the news feed here and the gang complained there was too much FCS content? xlolx

Love it and read it daily. It is one of a kind. I have the RSS feed on my home page along with AGS and CSN.

i usually forget to look at it unless some story is posted here, I really wish they could add a new section on here and have all the articles post to it like they did in the main discussion section for a few days.... it was great that way, just too much clutter for the discussion section.

I see TT has joined as a contributor! Great!!! More stuff to read and all FCS-related! Hey UNHW, add the RSS to your page and you won't miss a thing. xtwocentsx Saw this too:

I would read it more if they got our name right on the schools list on right hand column. It's SoutheastERN Louisiana...not Southeast Louisiana. Maybe I'll start calling Georgia Southern, Georgia South and Western Carolina, West Carolina. You'd think they would get it right eventually.

Second tour of duty with the site. Going to try to add every now and then when given a chance...any little bit helps, I suppose... xnodx

Contrary to popular belief, I *do* have an email address and am very willing to make the changes. It's fixed - hope you will continue to read it.

I ave to admit I've never been on that particular site.... I usually just go to www.collegesportingnews.com to compare all of the polls. Other than that, the site is kinda hard to find stuff on...

There already is a section on here.

Go to http://www.anygivensaturday.com/

It appears on the right hand side.
You have to use just anygivensaturday.com not any of the links to any forum.

ya that shows a few of the most recent stories.... I liked how they had all the stories post here and u could just look through on here, but I didnt like that it was all mixed in on the discussion board cause it overwhelmed everything else.

I get this question sometimes... a way to narrow your search is to scroll down on the main site to the "categories" part of the site (on the left). From there, you can click on a school/conference/category and only show news with that particular category. For example, if you scroll down and click "Montana" on the category list, you should get this page:

http://www.championshipsubdivisionnews.com/?cat=31

Which shows only CSN log stories in the category "Montana".

I will make some sort of effort over the next couple days to clean up the site to make it more readable.

That site needs some serious design work! You can have all the Good articles in the world, but no one will want to read them with a poorly layed out site with ad's b covering up half the stories.. The presentation is just as important as the product when looking for web attention.

I had never heard of the site. Reading it just now made my hair hurt. It needs some serious design changes. I did bookmark it and will scan for content as the season approaches.

And we would like everyone to know:

Proving that yes, I do listen to the fans, I have made a few template changes to clean up the CSN Log. If folks could take a look at it again and let me know how it looks I'd appreciate it.

I cleaned things up even more - let me know what folks think.

No more double ads on the bottom! You should see targeted ads or a pitch for Amazon.

Keep at fixing it up, LFN! It's heading in the right direction...

How many people would you say check out that site a day during the offseason?

- get rid of ads in between articles and use the side pane instead
- put categories at the top
- list just the article title hyperlinks instead of showing the first few paragraphs to fit more without paging
- new header design
