Hamstring injury hasn’t slowed down Spartan running back
Imagine what Terrell Johnson could do if he was 100 percent healthy.
The Spartans’ senior running back insisted he’s still bothered by a nagging hamstring injury — right after he ran for 168 yards and a touchdown in Thursday’s 35-21 loss to South Carolina State.
It’s helped that, given the Spartans’ depth at running back, no one gets overworked. With Monte Anthony and Daryl Jones sharing the workload, Johnson is running at a 107-yards-per-game clip despite getting only about 18 carries a game. ...
