All FBS candidates for the Johnny U award and of the list, there's one FCS name on there. Who is it you ask? Rhett Bomar of SHSU. I'm confused on this one. Nice pub for the Bearkats and Bomar, but there's no telling if he's even going to be ready for the season-opener and what kind of shape he'll be in until he reports with the rest in what is just a few weeks time...

Is Bomar even considered amongst the top 3 QBs in FCS at this point...?

Bomar's not even the top QB in the SLC.. Brown and Fourroux are better, but Bomar is a Senior unlike those. Edwards is not a senior either.

No.

Top 3 in the SLC. He'd be No. 3 behind Brown and Fourroux though. ;)

Top senior QB in the Southland! xnodx

Didn't realize at first this was for senior QBs which excludes guys like Brown and Edwards.

Wouldn't it be hard to throw with a golden arm? I mean, seriously, that thing would weigh 80 lbs!

And be worth 4 times over what it was last season.

It's Chase Daniel's to lose. Harrell and Longshore could give him some comp; will be interesting to see how Olson does with Neuheisel and Norm Chow providing tutelage.
