The Associated Press in Massachusetts and Rhode Island has named the WMUA broadcast of last seasons UMass/Villanova game Best in the student radio division. WMUA is the student funded/operated station at UMass...
As a former WMUA staffer..Congrats to Mike Walsh, Marc Bertrand and Zach Claudio for the fine job they do with UMass football...

In non-football news, the broadcast of the UMass/Syracuse regular season basketball match which the Minutemen won 107-100 won Best Collegiate play-by-play...
