apparently my school has followed the lead of its conference foe Davidson and has devised a plan that will give 8,000 ASU students free tickets and bus rides to the App-LSU game August 31st!!!:)

How exactly is App State getting 8,000 tickets for the LSU game? Most SEC schools only give out 10,000 to other conference foes with much larger traveling fan bases than App.

oh, yeah, and they're the best team in college football in probably the most intimidating atmosphere in the SEC.

The ticket number wouldn't be unusual. GSU generally gets 10k from UGA.
