McNeese's two time defending SLC champions will open spring football practice on Tuesday
McNeese State's two time defending Southland Conference champion football team will open spring drills on Tuesday (April 1). There will be 49 lettermen, including 2006 all-American and Southland Conference Player of the Year Steven Whitehead, answering the opening whistle of Coach Matt Viator.
