Yale drives to the HC 35 and then turns it over on downs. Yale had the better of the play in the 2nd half, but HC had a bend but don't break defense for the most part. I don't see much positive that Yale can take from this game. Maybe the freshman RB McLeod who looked good.

Yale scores as time expires. Since Yale is down 3 no XP is attempted. 22-19 final. Yale allows a safety, a kick return for a TD, and misses an XP. They also failed on a 4th and 1 inside the HC 10. Not a good performance. The "Jack must go" rumors will not be quiet this week.

Yale is to be commended for its never-say-die attitude. HC dominated the game for the first half and at least the first part of the third quarter, but then Yale began to move the ball on offense and forced some punts on defense.

Yale gave up two interceptions, the missed X-P, a safety on a very questionable reverse from approx its own 5 yard line, and the huge kickoff return for a touchdown. HC fortunate to win this game, but we will take it.

Good luck to Yale the rest of the way.

The top 4 teams in the ESPN/USA poll all won. That may be a first this year and a surprise in itself. #5 Delaware is struggling with Towson at the moment.

P.S. Delaware lost 35-31, but was the only top ten team in the poll to lose.
