He's had some serious health issues in the recent past. I see this more as a symbolic gesture by Rizzi, which shows what a good man he is. I do think that Griff can contribute something though and being a position coach he won't have a ton of responsibility. The passing game is certainly his specialty and I'm looking forward to a return to that.

I think Rizzi is his own man. I'm sure he wears the pants in his house.

All things considered, it sounds like a respectful gesture than a situation where Griff will be calling the shots.
