That name brings back some memories. That kid could flat out play QB. He was probably 5'10" with his cleats on and made play after play.

Corley was a QB, no? Is that normal that a QB would become a RB coach?

We have a former DE as our RBs coach. I think the most important factor is the ability to implement the head coaches' directives.

Not unusual at all for a guy to coach positions different from where he played. Mike Tomlin was a wide receiver at W&M, but made his name in the NFL as a secondary coach, and DC. Jim Cavanaugh, another Tribe WR, coaches strong safeties and outside LBs at Va Tech.
