Doctor finds Missoula more to liking now
Larry Stayner had at least two good reasons not to like Missoula much.
Both times he and his Boise State football teammates came to Missoula they lost to the Montana Grizzlies - 48-13 in 1989 and 21-7 in 1991.
But when Stayner and his family looked for a place to settle as he embarked on his orthopaedic surgery career the fact that the university had a nationally recognized football program was just one of the things that helped them choose Missoula.
