Lamar students vote yes on referendum
BEAUMONT – The students have spoken, and they’ve told Lamar University to move the chains.
The student referendum on whether to approve an athletics fee has easily passed, with 79 percent voting yes, Student Government President Obi Arisukwu said in a text message to The Enterprise. Some 1,294 students voted overall, Arisukwu said.
