It's nice to see John Holt's high school honoring his contributions to Appalachian's offensive line by retiring his uniform number. I have no doubt that Armanti Edwards and Kevin Richardson know full well the value of a strong line. xthumbsupx
"Erwin will retire former lineman John Holt's uniform number (50) Friday between its varsity boys and girls basketball games.
After his football career with the Warriors - Holt played from 2000 to 2003 - he was part of three national championship teams at Appalachian State. Holt is only the third athlete in Erwin history to receive such an honor, joining Loyd King (basketball) and Connie Rogers (basketball)."
