Gossett Commits to WCU
Local wrestling prodigy abruptly decides to stay close to home with a Catamount scholarship.

Then Western Carolina made a late pitch over the weekend that kept the Shrine Bowl defensive back from crossing any state lines.
Gossett, who is also an Associated Press all-state selection and two-time All-WNC pick, became first-year Catamounts coach Dennis Wagner’s first local recruit by accepting a scholarship offer Monday.
