Springdale, PA's Zurisko picks Bucknell
Bucknell nabs a promising prospect from western Pennsylvania.
Springdale football player Nathan Zurisko made a verbal commitment to Bucknell yesterday, following in the footsteps of two of his coaches.
Zurisko, who was recruited as an athlete, chose Division I-FCS Bucknell over Lafayette and Colgate, a pair of other Patriot League schools. He will sign a letter of intent on Feb. 6.
Both Springdale head coach Chuck Wagner and offensive coordinator Matt Noll played at Bucknell, Wagner as a running back/defensive back from 1954-57, and Noll as a cornerback from 1989-92.
