View Full Version : I know what we can do to kill some time - Post a pic of your student section!!

I think we had a student section thread, but it sunk deep into the archives.

Here's the NDSU student crowd at the 2006 Dakota Marker game. This is only half of the students. The other half take up most of the south endzone.

I'm in the little tiny slice on the lower right corner of seating that's cropped off.

19,053. :D

UDBlueLotFan: Last year, NDSU averaged 18,141 per game. UNI averaged around 16,000 I believe.

Bryant only holds about 5,500... But it is always a student section. I would say an 80/20 break between students and alumni/fans.

That sucks that they stick you guys down at the end zone, but the proximity of the stands to the field is nice wish we were that close at ASU

Tribe student section in the background here at the Delaware game on Aug. 30. 3,400 students came through the gate that evening. Not bad for a school with only 5,700 undergrads.

Actually, they are pretty good seats. We're right behind the visitors bench and we get ample seating. There's a reason the Sam Houston players warmed up under the stands before the game instead of on the field. xsmiley_wix

If anyone has been to bryant they will now they have some of the best grounds in the country. They keep the entire campus in great shape, and this field looks like this all year with mens/womens soccer, football, and sometimes lacrosse.

Luckily we will be getting a new field in a few more seasons without all of those soccer lines. Hopefully the Block A at midfield will return too.

yea it's not the soccer circles that bother me as much as the lack of something in the middle of the field like a Big A or a yosef or something cool like that.

The actual soccer field is a real soccer pitch (larger than a football field) up at State Farm. Could those be field hockey lines? In any case, finding a large enough space to be flattened out in the mountains isn't the easiest thing to do.

The student section at Kidd Brewer always seems to "spill" up into the season ticket holder section. I've met some pretty fine young folks as well as a few characters in the "old folks" section.
