Northeastern's defense would have a tough time stopping a sneeze right now.

Over on our NU fan website (dieharddogs.com) there are some who believe if we don't win on Saturday against Towson, we could throw a donut this year.

One (or more) of the following statements is true:

1. Hager can't coach.

2. Hager can't recruit (jury may be out on this one).

3. Don Brown left the cabinet bare and had a lapse in recruiting for a couple years.

4. It was Brown and his staff who made the players better.

If I hear someone justify our team's performance with "Rocky's a nice guy", I'm going postal on them. Rocky Hager could be the freaking pope, but fact of the matter is we're not winning.

In Browns two years at UMass he has def brought in some talent... I think it has to be either one two or four. Dont forget Brown won with players that werent his too.

Husky Alum-
I propose a non-contact 7 on 7 drill determine the NU/W&M game this season. Our defense may have a little more practice though; they just had a non-contact 11 on 11 drill against URI

With Maine's ability to play down to the level of any opponent, you can't overlook the possibility of that game, NU.

What in the world is going on in this conference.

Hey, we're still better than W&M. :D

Headdressguy -

The way our defense has been playing and getting hurt, we'd still lose a 7 on 7.

We haven't made contact on defense with anyone, so we'll be ready.

We had our "BEST" defensive performance of the year this week in allowing 38 points and 331 yards against 'Nova - nuf ced.
