Florida A&M President James Ammons' search for a new football coach may continue into 2008 if he and John Eason can't work out a deal before Christmas, according to a source with knowledge of the situation.
Eason, a FAMU graduate who now works as an assistant coach at the University of Georgia, came to Tallahassee from Athens on Friday evening to meet with Ammons and Athletic Director Bill Hayes.
