A day after failing to sign his first choice for the vacant head football coaching job, it is unclear what Florida A&M President James Ammons' next step is.
Grambling State head football coach Rod Broadway decided to stay put Monday after he and Ammons were unable to come to terms on a contract.
"(Ammons) is working to find someone and to finalize a deal," said FAMU spokeswoman Sharron Saunders on Wednesday. "To be honest, there was nothing to be said at this particular time. Hopefully we will be able to announce something soon."
