2023 AGS PLAYOFF PICK'EM CONTEST (QF/SF/F)

This week you will be picking not just the quarterfinal round, but also the semis and championship game. This adds a little more excitement to the way the standings play out and adds just a little bit of a bracket element back into the contest. Plus, people disappear like crazy each new week of playoff contests like this, so this will combat that issue. So, you will pick the quarterfinal games, semifinals, and final. Make sure to pick from teams you had winning in previous rounds.

Scoring will progress each round:
Quarterfinals - base score of 20 for each correct pick
Semis - 30
Championship - 40

Just noticed the standings are up to date at the first post this thread. Yep, Taper you likely got it, unless you've picked SDSU to win by 60 or 1 point, or Montana pulls the biggest upset since the Championship moved to Frisco. Nice going, you've been kicking butt every week of the playoffs.

Speaking of CHen, he was telling FUBeAR between the Reg Season & the Playoffs contests that the mark of a real Champion would be if anyone could possibly finish in the Top 5 in BOTH contests.

That would show that it just wasn’t someone having a hugely great single week or picking an amazing upset in the Playoffs. No, CHen said, Top 5 in both would prove AGS PROGNOSTICATION SUPREMACY.


Oh wait…FUBeAR just happened to have the time to combine the Rankings for the 2 Events … like Biathlon or Slalom & SuperG in the Winter Olympics…

The playoff competition only had a smattering of games where the winner/loser outcomes were not previously determined because of the relative weakness/strength of several playoff teams. Therefore in good conscience, I cannot adorn you with the overall title at this juncture.
