I posted it a day or two ago. It is probably far back in the archive due to so many new threads.

App State: where is your boy Lynch?

good question. and a good reason to view this list as folly.

I would agree as I thought for sure he would be on the list. Isnt this chosen by the coaches association though? One would think they would know whats going on. One would think?

the AFCA website sez the "Selection Committee" is comprised of 3 'head coaches' across each of 9 districts.

Isn't this the only one actually selected by coaches from FCS who play the games and study the films?

For what it is worth (not much, I know), although Lynch had the clincher vs Richmond (a huge play!), he looked pretty average on pass coverage much of the game vs the Richmond average pass attack. He got turned around pretty good a couple of times. Just an evaluation of what I saw on the tube.....

I would guess that you agree with me based on those two clips.

Yes. Clip #2 was a little exposing.

I also saw a replay of the blocked FG vs Michigan. The manner in which Lynch picked that bouncing ball up one handed on the dead run was quite athletic and very impressive.

4 of the top 6 (and 6 of the top 10) in voting for the Buchanan award not on this list. Ummmm, yeah.

Too bad there's not a slow-mo of clip #1. You should see how #47 reacted to the spin move.

After watching Lynch in tonight's title game, I owe the young man an apology. He was outstanding from start to finish against a pretty good QB and group of receivers. Nice job, Corey, and congrats!
