Despite 3 turnovers, and a freshman QB playing his first game, Wofford leads Furman 10-6 at the half.

To be honest, Furman’s offense has not looked like a top 10 team so far.

Mighty Paladins struggling to put away a 1-9 Wofford 3-3 starting the second.

I was watching the game to confirm the eye test everyone has for Furman.. it is 1-9 Wofford leading 10 to 6. Furman has some work to do in the second half. They still seem like a 12 to 6 team to me. But, it is clear that is a minority position on AGS.

This score is with Furman +3 with turnovers. So, it not like Wofford has been playing flawlessly.

However, Albany majorly dominating the Hawks in all facets of the game, with the Hawks managing just 41 yards and 3 first downs on offense, primarily on the final drive of the half.

Dylan Kelly has tied the Albany single season record for tackles in a season set by Ken Schoen in 1974, with 143 tackles. He has 8 tackles and a sack in the first half. Dylan is the nephew of former NFL great, Jim Kelly.

I know theyre 8-3, but Richmond didn't play any of the top 3 and has a Massey SOS ranked 83rd. They won't have played a single playoff team all year. And losses to 5-6 Hampton and 4-6 Morgan St. Plus a 1 pt win over 0-10 Stony Brook. No quality wins, couple of bad losses, and several weak wins against weak teams. This is not a playoff resume IMO.

I think Richmond is an absolute lock. While the CAA may be down from a top heavy perspective (meaning no clear cut "Wow, the pass the smell test Top 4 team), the league 1-11 (12-15 were pretty poor) was very balanced.

Yes, the Birds looked good and it was what I expected - a close hard hitting game. ISU-R looks like the found something at QB. Really nice team with a stout defensive front 7. Enjoyed our chat back and fourth today - UND will need to wait and see if they get in. They are on the bubble. - Peace.

We've never had a #2 QB come in and play well .. ever .. in Spack era, so that was nice surprise for us. And our defense has been very spotty against good offenses like UND who can run and pass. But we were slowly rebuilding once we got into MVFC season.

Nice clutch comeback by UND .. hope for good paring in playoffs. You guys should compete. But lot of good MVFC and Big Sky teams to get past. Good luck !!

p.s. we'll be back next year .. lots of underclass startes .. unless the Portal hurts us more than helps us. Spack tends to wear some guys out.

Gevani McCoy didn't play, either. The backup threw 6 TD passes in the first half.
