4,059 saw the Princeton Tigers lose a home game to Lafayette for the first time since Reagan’s first term.

That game saw junior Nick Kowgios (aka Special K) run for 259 yards setting a Leopard record that stood until #150 at Yankee Stadium in 2014 when Ross Schuerman ran for an amazing 304 yards (and had a good amount of yards too on wheel routes)

Wow was it raining there? A sad figure. Beat the Snow Game attendance at Lafayette Oct 29, 2011 (including me and my nephew) of probably 200

The attendance by the UTC fans, students, alumni and supporters is shameful. First, it’s homecoming, second it’s two nationally ranked team, third the nail biter WCU win last year and lastly, Chattanooga is a decent sized city. I guess most in TN only think the Vols play football. The UTC team deserves better support.

These numbahs continue to be troubling....been discussed ad nauseum here and on our board....not sure there are any solutions for this trend overall sadly.

Will eyes on games streaming on TV make up for all the lost attendance? I really don't know.

just total tickets sold, not actually in the stadium. Many probably didn’t go in as there isn’t enough capacity. Personally MC has enough land, they should have put a track and field for soccer/lax somewhere else and made a football stadium with more capacity. Not like crazy but maybe like 4K home and 1k away side. They had 3800 the first game vs a D2 team. The Lehigh game doesn’t count, it got moved due to weather and was played at Harvard.

Still happy they are least making money though.

They did the same thing last year, claiming over 12K at a stadium they admit to having a capacity of "over 3,500". Apparently anyone on campus for homecoming gets counted for football.

Yes we sell tickets, if people don't make it from tailgating to the game, it still counts. So yes its a weee dishonest for homecoming but its not "phony" for the other games as almost all go in. We had 13500 for parents weekend, both sides were full, as well as the grass berm area and people were standing on the concourse.

What kind of tickets though? They can’t be seats. Are they a discounted cost?

Some of the seats on both sides are GA tickets and GA also includes the grass area/standing area. So for example, friend from W&M could visit friend at UNH buy a GA ticket to get into tailgating, then never make it to the game.
