WCU vs UTC game has looked ugly at times - UTC has controlled a lot of the play with their QB picking apart the Western defensive backfield. UTC isn't even really trying to run the football. UTC has had a lot to do with how bad WCU has looked, but the Cats played a pretty bad half of football and are only down 6. The Mocs have the ball to start the second half, so the opening drive will be huge to see how the game goes. Slow start that is now setting up to be a track meet.

WCU took the lead against UTC 28-27, but it came at a cost as it looked like Reid possibly pulled a hammy. UTC goes down to score, but then the 2nd string RB for WCU gets a 30+ yard TD run to take a 35-34 lead. WCU just got a turnover and are in good position to get back into the redzone. Reid had 15 carries for 211 yards and 2 TDs, but doubtful he returns.

In what may very well be the OVC championship game, UT Martin scores first in OT to go up 28-21. EIU answers with a TD pass and then goes for 2. Try is unsuccessful, Skyhawks win 28-27.

Albany with the stop on 4th and Goal at the 1, with a minute to go. Towson is a very tough, good football team. That was a gritty football game.

Albany is all set with the state of Maryland...toughest FCS games so far for us (Morgan and Towson). Albany lost its starting LG early in the game and were already without our starting Center. Had an impact on pass protection.

This is a game Albany lost last year. Good win, and Towson should do well in the rest of the season. Off to UNH for Albany next week...another tough, tough test.

SDSU now up 40-21 .. but we got 2 stops down 34-21, with chance to cut it to 6, and didn't get it done. Offense showed something, defense was not ready for prime time against SDSU.
