Avg. Rushing Yards _____ + Avg. Passing Yards _____ + Avg. TOs = The victor? I guess you can add up 3 numbers like his formula and make a pick.

That would be a couple of dandy games.

That would be a couple of dandy games. Amen to that. With those projected scores, these games might as well be classified as "pick 'em".

his quarterfinal predictions:

NORTHERN IOWA 33 Delaware 27
SOUTHERN ILLINOIS 25 Massachusetts 20
APPALACHIAN ST 36 Eastern Washington 31
WOFFORD 27 Richmond 26

Do you think he has a problem with spreads more than 6? ;)

There will be more points scored in the ASU UR game than he is predicting...

Phil is usually on top of things. But I hear him on our local ESPN station every Thursday or Friday and it seems to me that he is too busy with FBS and NFL to pay a lot of attention to FCS. Anytime someone has called in with a FCS question he studders and claims to not have his info with him. I'm sure his formulas gets him close but I don't think he really studies us like he does NFL and FBS.
