Yea, regardless of earlier in the year. I think it's all determined on attendance, money, and bidding.

Same thing happened in '05. Furman beat us in the regular season, tied us for the SoCon title, and still came to Boone for the Semifinals.

I have a feeling that if Southern Ill. hosts Delaware, which it appears will be so, it will be the Sat. game due to time zones and travel and such. Whoever we play will be a short trip and would work better for Friday night. Don't like it but I have that feeling. I still don't understand why they have to be on different days. The bright side of Friday game would be having an extra day between the semis and finals. Ooh, I just remembered, if it's Friday, there's a chance that I may be able to go to Boone. Hmm, maybe Friday would be good.

I have to agree - nothing here is false - WoCo is the legitimate head to head champ of the SoCo, but we allow co-champs. Does WoCo/Richmond deserve a home game? Absolutely. Did they put up the cash? No. Do they have the facilities to hold what I believe will be a strong App contingent for the playoffs? No.

We could play it at NC State for a neutral field for all I care. God knows no football was played there this year.
