Boogsie plans to bring the wood!


"Bringing the Wood" is a football saying that stands for big hits and big plays.
This can be done throughout practices and most importantly during games.
The Cowboys started the tradition of bringing out an actual piece of wood to honor a player that demonstrates the act on that particular week.
Prior to the game, head strength coach or a defensive coach picks an individual to lead the team out the tunnel.
The wood is a physical reminder that one must always be ready to play and always give 100% effort on each and every play.
