Future playoff questions /north dakota state etc.

does north dakota state become eligible for the playoffs in 2008?

how about south dakota state? future? why they aren't eligible now?

is the great west conference going to expand in the future to try to get an automatic bid?

are the above two teams staying in the great west?

does anyone know...aren't there going to be 18 teams in the playoffs in the near future?

NDSU and SDSU will be in the Gateway beggining next season.

Both will be playoff eligible beggining in the 08 season

and to answer some of your questions that haven't been covered already.
SDSU wasn't eligible for the playoffs this year for the same reason that NDSU wasn't, because they were in their final year of reclassification.

NDSU and SDSU are leaving the Great West for the Gateway starting next season. But North Dakota and South Dakota will be joining the Great West, as they are starting their transition to Division I
