Plus Yale is just not built to come back from this far down. They need a couple of gifts and Harvard doesn't look like they're in a giving mood.

Yale makes a great final stand to end the half...and hold off complete domination...

Weird but: Yale goes into halftime with momentum (I'm not kidding)

I agree. Nice goal line stand for Yale at the end of the half. Hopefully Yale can make this game interesting in the second half.

Where is LFN? Harvard is no slouch, but if you are claiming that Yale is a top team in the country, you do not go down 27-0 in the first half.

Um... I love Harvard football (Ivy football) but...

There is no doubt in my mind either (neither) of these teams could play with the big boys in FCS... but it does not make it less fun..!!!!

Start of second half.. great kickoff return by Yale (again... they can kick return)

but drive stalls and they punt... a really bad punt... Harvard ball around 35

You know, I was thinking something like this might happen. I didn't think it would be 27-0 but I expected Haaaaaavad to break Yale's undefeated run.

Wow, someone who isn't unreasonably exaggerating the abilities of his league. Perhaps the Pioneer League should try this.

It's no big deal... Harvard is awesome but we don't have any 4.3 wide outs and 255 LB. Fullbacks ...

we've got a great QB and good hands WR's and a nice solid RB... but playing against APP ST or JMU or GSU or any top 10 FCS power house...

No worries we're kickin' Yales ass today

Yale avoids a shut-out...!!!!

their rookie star return man (who's had a great day) returns a punt 87 yrds... for 6... (missed extra point)

37 - 6 Harvard

While I didn't expect a rout, it was obvious that Yale's offense had regressed as the season went along. It's also obvious that if you run the ball 90% of the time, when you finally have to pass, it's just not there. Credit to Harvard and their coaches for a great gameplan and execution. Back to the drawing board for Yale. xsmhx

This Harvard D has not given up a hundred yard rushing game in 2 1/2 years..!!!!

if it was going to happen McLeod was the guy, but they stuffed him with 8 in the box all day...

Agreed: Solid game plan by Harvard Coaches xnodx

GAME OVER: 37 - 6 Harvard

Final Game post:
1) Harvard D holds Yale to less than 100 yards of total offense
2) Pizzotti throws for 4 TD's and over 300 yards
3) Cleets does his first play by play game thread...

Wow what a shock. For about the first 3 quarters I suspected that WHRB was running a prank or worse, that I was still asleep & dreaming of The Game.

Harvard really ran a run defense clinic today.

It seemed like the coaches had the same strategy this year as last: stop the run. It just seemed like this year they got off to a good start, didn't make any mistakes (and I mean none--not even a penalty until the 2nd half), and sort of snowballed.

There's always a next year in this series!xthumbsupx Thanks, bulldog, for your usual class and good wishes. I heard the final score in the car radio on the way home from an all-afternoon concert rehearsal and thought they got it backwards! I'll catch the video later.;) I was bummed to have missed it, either way.
