Jake Phillips played the entire game at QB for W&M. Finished 17-21 for 202 yards with 1 TD and 1 INT. Also rushed for 19 yds on 4 carries with 1 TD. Very efficient play in his first start.

Tribe rushing attack was dominant with 267 yards on 46 carries.

Tribe D gave up 110 yards on the ground and 280 overall. DTs are much better than last year. rFr. LB Josh Rutter is a new star.

VMI is much better than they were last year, but was no match for the Tribe.

And good luck to the Keydets. You guys will win some more this year. Today's was a very physical game, and your guys hung tough. Wilson and the receiving corps will do alot of damage, and Mizzer is still a very good back.
