What point are you trying to make with that comment?

9-1 USD still ranks below a 3-7 and a 4-6 CAA teams.

And Holy Cross is four spots better than the Patriot League team that beat them, Fordham.

Rankings... blah.

(not to even mention Albany 5 spots ahead of Colgate, who beat them)

2008 Gateway!!!!!!!! Now that's SICK

We're going to have to be careful with the OOC or there could be a lot of 7-4 teams in the league.

It means the CAA has 8 teams better than San Diego

It's based on record and strength of schedule. You may have risen to the challenge once, but was it done repeatedly?

6-4 Stonybrook at Number 48 pretty good!

What challenge has Holy Cross risen to that Fordham, that beat them, hasn't?

Similarly, does Albany's win over Fordham, a team that beat Colgate by 3 points, mean they are 5 spots better based on losing to Montana and Hofstra?

Like I said, rankings... blah. Thank god for playoffs, even if Colgate isn't in them.

Don't know. Probably about the same as the SoCon feels about having a quarter of their conference below them.

The only Gateway team on the list did not wait until the end of the season. They fired him in week 4.

Indeed!

The truth was that I first said "WTF?" when I saw Yale at #14. Hofstra just below them--I knew it was an outdated list. :)

Holy Cross at #27 should have given you a hint too. Who'd a thunk I'd long for the "days gone by of 2007????"
