TOWSON, Md. – Towson University women's swimming & diving collected both Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Women's Rookie of the Month awards for January, the league office announced Tuesday afternoon. Freshman Shannon Parrau was named the CAA Women's Diver of the Month after recording an NCAA Zone qualifying score of 267.38 points on the 1-meter dive against UMBC on January 17. Ally Frame was named the CAA Women's Swimmer of the Month following three individual wins and eight podium finishes in January. This is the women's team's first CAA Rookie Diver of the Month since senior Ashley Sinicropi won on Feb. 11, 2020. Frame's win marks the first for a Towson women's swimmer.
