DURHAM, N.C. - The 2022 North Carolina Central University football team continues to make history. After defeating previously unbeaten Jackson State University in the Cricket Celebration Bowl to win the HBCU national championship, NCCU has earned its highest FCS Top 25 national ranking, as the Eagles finish the season at No. 17 in the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Coaches' Poll.
