HOUSTON – HCU has named Braxton Harris as the second head football coach in the school's history, President Robert Sloan and Director of Athletics Steve Moniaci announced at a press conference on campus Tuesday. Houston Christian University (HCU), formerly Houston Baptist University (HBU), underwent a name change in September 2022.
