I don't get it - is a non-profit show a good thing, or does it even matter? No commercials are very nice, but did Waves have gimmicks beforeor am I missing something. xeyebrowx

Non-Profit does matter. It's more of a tax write-off. xnodx Never a bad deal when you get money from the government.CSN Waves is not a registered non-profit, it isn't a tax write-off for government status. It is solely supported by AGS and does not solicit nor receive any advertising $$$, no salaries etc. are paid. It is straight FCS talk without commercials.

Ok, again, so why does that matter to anybody?

Is it a good show? Yes.
Does it cover FCS football? yes.

I've heard of tv/radio shows billing themselves as "commercial free," I just don't understand why the poster chose to describe it as the "only non-profit FCS talk show." Couldn't you have just said AGS-supported, commercial free ... ?

I think if its a good show people will listen regardless of its fiscal status. The post comes across as if its trying to make a statement about something, but I don't know what it is.

This is not Consumer Reports where advertisers could have influence on the review of their products. Its a sports talk show covering FCS football.

Again, if the product is good people will listen REGARDLESS of how it is funded.

It just appears to this observer that someone may have an agenda or bias by making statement which would cloud the integrity of the product more than the funding source.

FCS postseason is toughest ticket and it needs to stay that way. How are deserving teams supposed to get WOOFED? We don't need 7-4 teams whining about getting WOOFED!
