Now on to November. Three weeks to decide all this. Four teams have been setting a strong pace all season and others have not been able to keep up. All the conference teams play this Saturday and there is one really great matchup, the first of many to decide the playoff representation. After going perfect last week, I am now at 54-12 for the year. Another shot at perfection this week. Here goes.

EWU at UI---The Eagles are in a position that they are not used to, one of playing spoiler at this point in the season. To the contrary, the Vandals are settling in to where they anticipated they would be when the dropped down from FBS. Maybe not the blowout that people thought at the start of the year, but a blowout nonetheless...UI 52, EWU 17.

SAC at WSU---Simply put, the Hornets are steamrolling everything in their path and it doesn't matter if they are at home or on the road. But this one will test them. The Wildcats have been doing just enough to keep winning and keep up with the others in the conference. This will be a good one, and may come down to home field...WSU 21, SAC 17.

MSU at NAU---Both the Bobcats and the Lumberjacks took last week off and both are heading in opposite directions. Aside from their foray into the Pac-12, the Bobcats have been winning over good teams and bad. The Lumberjacks on the other hand, have not been getting the wins they were hoping. A trap game for the Bobcats? Nah...MSU 31, NAU 17.

UNC at PSU---The Bears took a week off after getting thumped at home and now must head out on the road. The Vikings got a good conference road win last week against their rivals, but almost let the win slip through their fingers. Both teams have been rather peculiar this season which makes this game hard to pick. Tossup?...PSU 28, UNC 14.

ISU at UCD---The Bengals really did not look impressive in their last game two weeks ago and having the bye may not have been advantageous. On the other hand, the Aggies have sprung to life, hoping to save their season and maybe steal a playoff berth. Could they overlook this matchup that should be overwhelmingly in their favor? Not likely...UCD 42, ISU 10.

CP at UM---After the last few weeks, it is clear the Mustangs have closed up shop and are getting ready for next year. The Grizzlies, however, have been frustrated with a couple losses lately that have set them back a bit. Pent up frustration can be either good or bad, but playing the Mustangs should give the Grizzlies a chance to release some of it...UM 45, CP 10.

NoCo 21-35 Portland St. — The Viks appear to be the best of the rest

Idaho St. 14-48 Davis — The Aggies are 20th. in scoring margin (+13.0) despite being 4-4

EWU 24-42 Idaho — Eastern needs to win at least once to avoid their worst record since 1988

Sac State 27-24 Weber — I don't think Weber will quite have an answer for Cameron Skattebo

Montana St. 38-21 NAU — The 'Cats surprisingly haven't won in Flagstaff since 2008

Cal Poly 10-38 Montalol — The Griz should win this one comfortably even if Kris Brown does have to play again

EWU 17 @ Idaho 42 :: EWU now plays a spoiler role. Taking a 90 minute bus ride to Moscow to take on a much improved Vandal team. If EWU starts like they did against PSU this could be a blow out.

Sac 27 @ Weber 32 :: Big Sky game of the week. Thus far the home team earned the W in the matches of the top teams. I predict the same here.

MSU 28 @ NAU 17 :: MSU is favored, but it's a road game for the Bobcats and is seen as a trap game for them. NAU would love to play spoiler and have a signature win.

UNCU 16 @ PSU 28 :: PSU surprised last week in Cheney last weekend while the Bears were beat up by Davis.

ISU 20 @ UC Davis 44 :: Another cupcake game for Davis in Davis.

CP 13 @ UM 48 :: This is what a Dr. would order for UM to stop the losing streak.

I don’t even want to look up the score from last year. It was either 71-28 or 71-21. It was a demoralizing loss that concluded with Coach Best getting on Twitter and talking smack about Grumpy Joe.

EWU has the talent to still make this a game. My prediction is 35-32 Idaho W.

If true, the Dome will have around 13,000 in the stands. The Dome is loud with 7k to 8k in the stands.

Idaho will beat Eastern, but I think many are giving their defense too much credit. 36-30 Idaho
Sac will need to be Balanced for Skattebo to break loose, I think Weebs is all over him and Sac. 28-24 Weber
Montana State will get their first win in Flagstaff in almost 15 years, but i think, in true Bobcat fashion it will be full of drama. 45-37 Cats
Vikings beets Bears. 29-17 PSU
Davis is getting hot, and they're a better team than their record shows. 40-21 UCD
Poly is really really really bad. Montana does very well against bad teams. The badder the better. 37-10 griz

EWU 27 @ UI 38 - Idaho has played well this year, even holding a mid-4th quarter lead on the road against a conference leader. EWU... has not.
SAC 24 @ Weber 21 - MSU is #2 in rushing and gashed Weber for 347 yards. Sac is #3 in rushing. Skattebo will be the difference.
MSU 34 @ NAU 24 - Walkup has been a house of horrors for the 'Cats, even 2010 when a win in Flagstaff would have made them undefeated in FCS and earned them a better seed. The spread is -17.5 on MT Sports Bet. Cats will win, but not cover the spread.
UNC 23 @ PSU 38 - NoCo is playing out the string while PSU is coming off a nice win in Cheney in the Dam Cup. PSU still has a small chance to finish above .500 (requires upsetting Sac at home next Friday).
ISU-o 14 @ UC Davis 45 - The Bengals will be the latest bottom feeder to feel the Aggies' wrath after a brutal schedule to start the season.
CP 13 @ UM 27 - Even if Johnson doesn't play, the Griz will find enough offense to beat a really bad Mustangs team. Hell, even 3-4 non-scholly San Diego almost beat them on their own turf. mvemjsunpx gets to reassign the "lol" to Cal Polol. :D

Looks like 5-1 this week. Only miss was the Sac State/Weber game. Puts me at 59-13 for the year.
