Someone mentioned a few weeks back that it was so Lindenwood could play an OVC schedule this year. Since they decided that so late everyone already had their 6 OOC games scheduled so instead of making each existing OVC school re-work/back out of one of those OOC contracts they just took away one conference game from everyone.

Makes sense. I was told Lindenwood wasn't an "OVC game" for EIU this season and that didn't make much sense to me at the time, but we play everyone in the OVC this season, so apparently only 5 count and the LU game was the one that didn't.
