McNeese bobbled the snap on the conversion after its first touchdown, and it haunted the Cowboys the rest of the game and cost them a possible tie and OT. Several low snaps throughout the game. McNeese used Walker Wood as QB in place of the injured starter. I imagine many Cowboy fans are hopping up and down and telling the McNeese coaching staff, "I told you so!"

As for SLU, this is the 4th or 5th straight win for the Lions over the Cowboys and the outcomes have all have been by 5 points or less. SLU is a Jekyll/Hyde team. They have beaten UIW and blasted Jacksonville State, but have lost to TAMUC and barely escaped McNeese.
