Senior captain Meg Barnes scored her first goal of the season just over six minutes into the game, and the Dartmouth field hockey team wouldn't trail as the Big Green defeated visiting Merrimack, 2-1, on Sunday afternoon at Chase Field. The win is Dartmouth's third straight, its longest winning streak since the 2017 season, as the Big Green head into Friday's Ivy League opener at Cornell with a 3-3 overall mark.
