Correct, but if you lose 35 seconds per play you get the ball back with about 30-60 seconds left. You know MSU will run the ball and not go for it on 4th down from their own 30 or so. Plus in college the clock stops on 1st downs.

EXACT SAME SCORE - So…of course we won’t move the Bobcats down to 23ish for a 50 point win, but FUBeAR would certainly expect to see Mercer tied with Montana State in the Top 5 next week. Any alternate calculus would be completely irrational.
