If they win the next two weeks vs CCSU and Albany, I'll think about ranking them. The Iona loss is the only thing keeping me from doing it now.

On top of that blunder, NDSU gained 4 first place votes by beating a pathetic MVSU while UNI only gained 1 by beating #10 unbeated Southern Ill. ? xeyebrowx

I don't think the coaches are paying attention.xnonono2x

UNI should be a consensus #1 in all three of the major polls this week. It is hard to argue with their results. However, if NDSU knocks off the Goofers then they should perhaps take over that #1 spot IMHO. Do you realize that if NDSU wins next weekend they will have 3 wins that count towards an FBS Bowl. What a shame they won't have any kind of post season game at all.

It means nothing this week, but I don't think that SIU should take a big hit after taking #1 to the final play at the %^&dome.

SAN FREAKING DIEGO? HAMPTON? a 4-2 The Citadel Bulldog team from the SoCon is receiving votes and SAN FREAKING DIEGO IS #25? makes me laugh, and vomit, at the same time, quite a confusing feeling!

here's the problem with the coaches poll....what coach has time to research what other teams have done? If they spend their time worrying about their vote, their team must not be doing so well.

Is this really SID's voting?

I'm sure the coaches leave the field after their games and log on to AGS to catch up on the scoop.:D

I've heard Higgins logs on frequently to seek guidance from citdog.

You're right.... we'd much rather just go surfing and hit a bong. That is all Southern Californians know how to do right?

Good football is played out here, but for some reason the other side of the country doesn't think so.

I hope you don't think that we think that there isn't good football in California, your scholarship programs prove that year in and year out. Not the case at all. We just don't think that you would compete at scholarship level I-AA.

Can you afford $400K. We need a game next year. Nothing like playing to see how good each team is AGS.

Like, Have your AD call our AD and Make it happen, dude.

just a question.....what is the use ranking teams that are not a part of the playoffs? Aside from transitional reasons (NDSU, etc.) should we rank teams that don't have a shot at the title??

I agree with JMU2K_DukeDawg, no way should Norfolk State be ranked below Hampton after beating them on Saturday. xeekx Give a little love to the Spartans whose only loss was to Rutgers.

Sure. Why even have anything other than a top 10 ranking as most teams out side the top ten have ZERO chance of winning a national championship as well.......or is Eastern Washington going to win the title this year.....

It is obvious that opposing coaches are afeared of the mighty juggernaut from Amherst, but they cannot vote us down on the field of battle, and they know it! Coach Brown eats panthers for breakfast. UM linemen feast on buffalo burgers. Minuteman Sam got shreds of Monty in his teeth! Your fictional pole cannot save you, mortals! BWWAHAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAAAAA!!!!!

What are the three wins? I am only tracking the 1 win against CMU and the potential win against U of M. Do FBS teams get credit for 1 FCS win towards a bowl game?
