Week 2 SLC football schedule

All eight SLC teams are in action in week #2.
Five teams take on FBS teams in this week’s action. Commerce takes on its first FCS opponent since moving to the SLC as it takes on OVC Tennessee Tech. HBU, coming over a road victory over Northern Colorado, also plays an OVC team, hosting Lindenwood. Northwestern State and Grambling hook up in an in-state brawl, pitting the SLC against the SWAC, at historic Independence Stadium, Shreveport. McNeese is licking its wounds administered by the Montana State Bobcats and are hoping for an easier time as they travel to FBS Rice Owls. UIW had the most impressive outing in week 1 as they pounded MVC Southern Illinois. The Cardinals travel to FBS Nevada. The other SLC Cardinals, Lamar, fell to ACU this weekend and now head to FBS SMU. Southeastern fell to FBS ULL and face another FBS opponent in Florida Atlantic. Nicholls fell badly last week and travel to FBS Louisiana-Monroe in an in-state matchup.

Damn! Heartbreakers for HBU and Commerce, a statement win by UIW on the road at FBS Nevada, and some forgetful performances by others. UIW is clearly the cream of the crop at this time, and who on earth in the SLC even has a chance to challenge them?

Yes, it is! I read this on a thread sometime back on how that works. Some polls made here do not make votes public, though, and so it doesn't work for all of them.
