That's a pretty good start. Are they all road games or do you get some at home. Is the North Dakota game UND or NDSU? I'll put Eastern's up against yours. We're going to Oregon and Florida and then have Tennessee State at home.

The last few years I have looked forward to seeing Sacramento hype machine state perform in the playoffs and needless to say the nickname is totally justified

So disappointing watching that team fall flat on their face every year when they play outside of the Big Vanilla Sky

Did I miss something? Didn't Montana St make a run to the finals last year?

Gotta love Portland State's September schedule...

Ironically, our game with the Griz is the only game we play this year outside of the Pacific time zone. xthumbsupx

This fall, Idaho plays WSU in the Battle of the Palouse. The game has been played off-and-on since 1894 over the 128 year period. Idaho hasn’t won this game since 1999 and 2000 while FBS.

Idaho will play Indiana and Drake to finalize our OOC schedule.

Overall, most Vandals are very pleased with this schedule since it is the last year we play 2 x P5 FBS teams in the near future. The following years have a P5/G5/FCS for OOC.

I'm hoping ASU is trash enough this year that we can sneak in an upset. NAU had alot of good things going for them last year. I'm hoping to see RJ Martinez and Kevin Daniels have big Sophomore years. If they can have a potent offense along with the solid defense they had at times last year, it will be a good season. Hopefully everyone stays healthy and plays consistent. Go JACKS!!!

It would be great to beat ASU and UA in back-to-back years.

Its good to see the cross border rivalry continue. Hope you guys can go to Pullman and do some damage. Terribly disappointed that WSU won't continue to play Idaho in basketball. A long, long
tradition thrown down the drain.

That's a tough schedule to begin the season! As an aside, Montana is only about 100 miles away from the Pacific Time Zone, so you just missed all games in the same time zone.

Burning questions for week 1:

Will Davis finally shatter UC Berkeley's Big Sky dominance? I'm not confident in the Aggies yet, but they finally have a chance.
Can NAU do the same above and Cal Poly the Sun Devils, sending the latter further down the abyss? (My reference comes from 2013, when Yale sent Cal Poly into the deep cellar with their humiliating upset of the Mustangs on the road. The Mustangs haven't ever been the same program since.)
Can Idaho keep competitive against an uncertain Wazzu squad?

South vs. Intermountain West games seem to be interesting to me, when it comes to the regular season...

Louisiana is preparing to invade the Big Sky, and specifically the state of Montana.

That you have only one game out of the Pacific Time Zone is really, I guess the word would be, an anomaly. i think there are five BSC teams in the Mountain Zone and you don't have to go to any of those sites is
a fortunate draw for PSU. I've always thought that the road games, to places that are not easy to get too (Flagstaff, Cedar City, Pocatello) is one of the reasons its tough to win on the road in conference.

6 teams in the Mountain time zone - both MT teams, ISU-o, Weber, UNC and NAU. However, since most of Arizona, including Flagstaff, does not observe daylight savings time, for most of the regular season (all except November's games), NAU will be the same time as PDT.
