The annual Paul McCartney and Wings comparison....


11 (again) – The Missouri Valley Football Conference will seek to extend its FCS-record streak of 11 straight national title-game appearances. Beside North Dakota State, Illinois State, Youngstown State and South Dakota State have played in the final game.

Pretty sure we've established the rest of the MVFC are far closer to The Traveling Wilburys than we are to the Wings .. and I already called dibs on Tom Petty for my ISUr. xnodx xdrunkyx

Can we be George Harrison? Had success in the '60s, 80's, and '90s, but have been 6 feet under since the early '00s.

Nope, the rest of the MVFC is just like Wings, a few relative unknowns playing backup to a legend.
